The Events

So you're tough, but are you tough enough to take on the Waikato Draught Tough Guy and Gal Challenge? If you've got power and endurance, want to get down and dirty, have an outstanding time, then these unique off-road running events are for you. The events are open to both male and female competitors who are 13 years of age and older. Challenge yourself on a course that includes swamp crossings, a spiders web net climb, crawl under barb wire, beautiful native bush trails, a range of natural and man made obstacles, mud and more mud. Course Description
The full course is 12 kilometres, (two 6km laps),and is based on an "Army type obstacle course". You can run, walk, push, crawl or climb through a variety of natural and man made obstacles. A social one lap or 6km option is also available.

The course includes water trails, a spiders web net climb, mud slide, crawl under barbed wire, a tricky wire rope bridge, unbelievable native bush trails, paddock running, swamp crossing and more mud. The course has been designed for you to complete and have one of the most memorable experiences of your life.

The Venues/Registration

Auckland:

The event is based at Woodhill Sands Equestrain Centre, a fantastic facility located on SH16, Woodhill. (12minutes from the end of the North Western

Motorway)

The event is based at Linton Army Camp, located on Camp Rd,

Rotorua:
The event is based at Lakes Ranch. An outdoor pursuit/equestrian complex 15 minutes east of Rotorua off SH30. Just follow the signs to Hells Gate Thermal Park - Lakes Ranch is directly opposite.

Facilities include Hot showers, Heated pool and backpacker style accommodation and good car parking.

Age Limit / Limited Numbers
All competitors must be 13 years of age or older on race day. Each event is has strictly limited numbers so please make sure you enter early to avoid disappointment. Online entries will be available from 01 April

Confirmation of Entry
The banking of your cheque indicates the acceptance of entry, or see confirmed entry tab above. All event information and pack is to be collected at registration.

Late Entry
The event has been oversubscribed in the past and late entries have not been accepted. We recommend you enter early to avoid disappointment.
